Step 1: Find available image server
Method 1: Automatic image server discovery (only for Android)
To you this method, firstly, you need to ensure that your PC and your mobile are connecting to the same internal network. Then you can proceed as below:
- Start PC app, ensure “Discovery” option is turn “ON”
- Start Mobile app, go to “Server” setting page, ensure server setting is “ON“. Then waiting at this screen for a while. If the process is successful, you can see your PC is listed under “Available Server” section.
Depend on network condition, discovery can take long time to complete. If after waiting, there is no image server found. You can try the second method below:
Method 2: Manual image server discovery
- Get your PC host name or IP Address
- Start Mobile app, go to “Server” setting page, ensure server setting is “OFF”. Under “Server Address”, enter your PC host name or IP Address you get before.
- On Mobile app, change server setting to “ON”. If your PC address entered is correct, your PC will be listed under “Available Server” section.
Step 2: Connect to your image server
If you do not change server username and password setting on your PC before, you only need to click your image server listed under “Available Server” section to start connecting.
If you already changed server username and password setting, you need to fill the same information on your mobile device before start connecting.
Step 3: Browse and search for images on your PC
Now your mobile app is already connected to your image server. You can browse and search for images on your PC the same way as you do on your mobile device.
